When it comes to taking care of ants it is easy and fun but can be hard at time so here are some things to help you out...
You can get queen ants from lots of places but we recommend you to go looking out in your backyard and local Park's first and looking around in places with grass and water or trees and dead trees then look and see if you have a local or close ant store by you that will sell you a queen ant and then the last option is to look online and find a good ant selling person or place near you or find someone local that will sell or tread with you.
what you keep you ants in can actually affect there egg laying and ant health so we recommend you to keep your ants in a outworld and nest that is the same terrain they are found in which will cater to all your ants needs or we recommend a Artificial nest that fits your ants size and nesting needs.
The answer is NO, keeping different species together or in the same space can lead to death of the ants as they will fight and kill one another until they are all dead or there is a couple left and they will kill the other queens so your ant colony will die but some ant species are polygynous which means they can have and will accept more than one egg laying queen in there colony (of the same species) and some are Manica rubida, Camponotus nawai, Lasius flavus, and more
